Psychic Pictograph Explication (first posted December 21st 2020, the Winter Solstice)
Explication: “The Sun Shines Narrowly” – the thin yellow rays - means that there are a few winners and a lot of losers in 2021. People aren't supported. I got the impression that something happens in May 2021 that knocks people for a loop, that has them staggering, which shows up in June, and that by Fall, a lot of competition is knocked out of the marketplace. “Fires Burn Merrily” means people are busy putting out fires in their own life, taking care of business, and largely occupied with their personal/professional worlds.
The horizontal broken brown line means there is some sort of gap, a couple of months of instability, possibly related to the president’s health, and in general all the lines mean that a lot of disadvantaged people fall through the cracks and there is a generally unstable feel to the year.
The red star is a sign that Russia impacts the U.S. significantly this year, and is a big influence generally. When I did the pictograph in December, it didn't make sense, but I notice that even in July 2020, there was some kind of psychically-felt invasion of U.S. infrastructure coming in December:
From August 2020 newsletter “December 2020 Invasion: An odd impression was that hostile-to-America people infiltrate the United States, coming from many different places. They are a back-up, an aid, a support, as if sent by powerful politicians who want the current administration to stay in power.”
The red star could be pointing out that the recent Russian hack is a very big deal. It invaded many companies, government sites, Microsoft, etc., and no one knows what that hack and infiltration will mean.
There might be many wonderful developments and personal and collective successes in 2021, but the pictograph is picking up on the collective loss of stability and security, at least in America. And, that Russia puts its stamp somehow on at least this country.

Here's hoping... if people are vaccinated by then, and have any money to spend after all this, Santa Fe will be swarming with happy people!

More Predictions for 2021 - People Establish Themselves Anew
Tip: Focus on Short Term Goals and Take Life “One Day at a Time”
In the case of this year, it’s a good idea to skip to the end of the story, which is that things lighten up, they get better, and in the meantime, we have to be resilient and enduring, and resolve to see ourselves through to better days.
Material stability and staying healthy are the primary concerns this not so festive year. You might be waiting until the last few months of 2021 to experience a lighter atmosphere.
Regardless of the picture any of these messages paint of 2021 on a collective level, here is the feisty two cents from the spirit of the year, talking to individuals with dreams:
(December 21, 2020 Tweet): “2021 says: "Blast Off!"Some people are filled with ambition, struck with a mission. Go for it! This is when it occurs to you, and this is when to do it. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Ignore the "buts".
“Love” was the most powerful energy in 2021, and feeling love, and having love, the best tonic for your health. Connection with others is super important this year. However, it was also useful to lower expectations of others, thereby preventing stewing in resentment:
(December 27, 2020 Tweet): “Nothing is more important for the well-being of the planet than your individual kindnesses. Or for the best year and bang, prioritizing your own self's physical and emotional health. And be doing - no stewing! Don’t expect anything from anybody. Be Well!”
It is not a sentimental year, though, it’s a year that respects being resourceful and doing. Being scattered and inefficient and missing in action, you will lose in 2021. The stars urge and help you to devise better ways of working and to create new efficiencies. You'll need to learn to better cooperate with others, as well as your own self so you can navigate between what you want to see happen, and tolerance for what is actually possible, given conditions. Focus on short term goals, and note your accomplishments each day.
2021 Predictions
On the Winter Solstice 2020, I had psychic pictures so dark and unsettling that I only posted the 2021 pictograph (with no explanation), and none of the other messages.
But I also got comforting words on the Solstice that we get over a period of loss and separation, although it was from a spirit way in the future: “Behold! A new day comes. All is well. Everything is over, the anger is dissipated.”
Interestingly, the spirit from the far future said if there’s one thing to stop doing, it’s using plastics: “…and, those plastics emitted gases that were not good for any living thing -- eliminate the plastics.” The other practical advice given from the future was “always try to find ways to travel together.”
12/21/20 The Speaking Stones: “In the U.S., a rooted, plotted, creative act is in place. The unusual is here. There’s room for error. Women are left out; spirit is left out –and it’s unclear how things end up.”
I believe this message is capturing the January 6th attack on the Capitol. “Rooted” means the roots of it are in the institution of the U.S. itself, plotted means premeditated, and creative means some big unique thing is trying to come about. Such a big statement about “The unusual” is because it’s historic and novel. “There’s room for error”: I did not understand this – in hindsight it’s that the creative act that’s set to go on and in the air on 12/21/20, reveals how unprotected the Capitol is, how there’s no chain of command protecting it. “Women are left out” – the stone representing women was not in the design - only Mars energy, masculine and with the mechanical in place. “Spirit is left out” is that it’s an unenlightened act, unholy, like the burning of the Alexandria library; and finally, “unclear” points out the consequences to the country can’t be seen. (That’s all I divined. In a moment of weakness and unprofessionalism, I was so taken aback by this menacing, powerful design that I impulsively destroyed it before reading everything it had to say.)
To not convict Trump is to invite Chaos in, and evict the Rule of Law. Even if his mob turns on him and then keeps growing by itself, funded by Russians or whatever’s going on, democracy has a better chance of survival even everywhere in the world, by having a trial in the Senate, and convicting him.
Automatic Handwriting: Messages About 2021 on the Winter Solstice
Question: (I ask the spirits for messages that paint a realistic picture of the year):
Answer:“You drew it.” (That refers to the 2021 psychic pictograph “The Sun Shines Narrowly, Fires Burn Merrily” - see update below.)

A: It goes away.

A: He doesn’t.
Q: Where is he?
A: In the White House.

A: Yes.
Q: Who is speaking? (I asked this because the last answers didn’t make sense; Trump can’t be in the White House if Biden won, and I wanted to “try the spirits”, meaning I want to identify who is giving me these incomprehensible answers.)
A: I am. Always yours…anything else? (This meant to me I was talking to a trustworthy spiritual guide. Now on January 15th, maybe him still being in the White House is a metaphor for the possibility that Trump becomes president of a shadow government, and he can win in that he divides the U.S. and is still the leader to his base. Maybe it means he wins because he can still go to war with America, and further divide it.)
Q: Women?
A: Where women are, is where women were. (This means that womens’ fate continues to cycle between highs and lows, and there is not a notable change in their lot.)
Q: Black people?
A: All done. Over. Annoyed. Angry. (I don’t understand “All done. Over”. It sounds like something frustrating happens, maybe a loss in power of their social/political movements.)
Q: Republicans?
A: Done.
Q: Nature?
A: Always… it’s always going to win.
Q: U.S. economy?
A: No. (This means the spirit will not answer this particular question – “No” is not a statement about the economy.)
Q:Stock market?
A: Up.
Note: In the Late May 2020 newsletter with predictions about Covid19 in 2020 and 2022, the idea that the pandemic is “over” was in the original 2022 message. However, what hogged all the attention in that divination was how mad people were in 2022 about the tremendous destruction to the economy and how badly the crisis was handled. This December message also declares that Covid is more or less over with its rampage in 2021, although clearly not any time soon.
Month by Month 2021 Divination: In this experiment in communication, I tried to get messages that were a comment on each month of the year, which I recorded. Unfortunately, the “voice to text” microphone in Microsoft 365 turned itself off, and I learned the hard way I have to check that little red button! It’s a shame because it gave the most messages, and I remember only a few things. The messages are so stark, I’ll certainly know by the end of the year whether this is a good divination system are not:
May-June 2021: An event or circumstance that hits in May, where the effects are felt strongly in June, is some kind of blow that really knocks the wind out of peoples’ sails and is very crippling. People stagger under the weight of something hard to deal with, as is something comes ramming through, and this is felt in the U.S. Consequently, there are a few winners and many losers and many less people in the middle.
September - October: A recovery begins where things are getting righted, it feels like after an attack, but this is when it’s clear that there are only a few winners and many losers. It also reduces competition in the marketplace quite a bit. The price of gold is higher in October.
November: Government and social services have to put different sorts of systems in place that never had to be instituted before, to shore up or support people or keep them safe.
Message from the Space People: The first message about their increasing presence is in a previous blog post, and here’s the second that comments about our human nature, and how we end up connecting with other beings out there. Somehow this message was coming from planet Earth, and space beings. Both were gotten on the 2020 Winter Solstice:
“People have so much to release, to throw up.
You’re more malleable, changeable, than you’re acting. You’re acting like you don’t have the ability to see what isn’t working, and the will to change it.
You’re better than that! Call on your high self as an individual, and after a while, you’ll want to and learn to connect with high selves in a collective way that changes these conditions. Don’t worry about the conditions, worry about yourself.
And yes, we’ve been radioed, we are from different places in the universe. Your individual effort to change your own consciousness and ultimately create a collective consciousness that changes conditions here, will allow you to use a lot more technology… this is how you connect with The Others.”
Update on the 2021 Pictograph: Here is the original message I got; I couldn't find it when I first wrote about it on my blog:
"It looks like people fall through the cracks. There’s some kind of pause or irregularity in the beginning of the year. Many things are cancelled. People are very preoccupied with the fires they have to put out in their own homes and communities. They focus now on their own lives."
The original explication about Russia impacting the U.S. still seems relevant, but now I think it also refers to the year-defining insurrection at the Capitol, because the symbol on maps for state and country capitals is a star, and Washington DC. on my map is marked by a red star.
U.S.A.: A lot of people are left by the wayside in 2021, and the country is still divided. There is still a lot more deaths this year, and many people get very withdrawn, psychologically. We are asked to wade through it all and carry on. It is both a great year when a lot of helpful scientific innovations give us hope, and a sad year. Interestingly, people might also feel they have unusual good luck, but it’s because people consider changing their behavior for real, and they make a greater effort to meet their short term goals. Many do, to great effect!
Everything starts easing up in the Fall, but that’s also when what has failed or been lost is clearer.
Why we are experiencing so much loss in general in the world, according to Mother Earth, is that things got out of balance.
For Individuals: What is so important that helps each person, is to take care of yourself, and maintain your personal health and emotional well-being by trying to live a balanced life. Things move fast this year, if you’re acting out of balance, the consequences can sideline you.
And for an ending to soothe you, here is a story from the January 14th “Get It Done in ’21” class, a parable about the year:
Once Upon a Time in 2021
Once upon a time in 2021 there was a young man who got into a huge conflict with his in-laws.
There was nowhere to go; there was nowhere to turn to because now, his in laws were living right under his roof,
and his wife wasn't sure who she was, and not always acting like his wife…
What to do? What could he do? Because now, they had to lean on each other for support. Now, they had to make money together.
And they’re still arguing about who is gonna do the dishes, and so to handle this, to get past this and to create a passage in his life from these worrying thoughts,
he decided to take a little trip up to the mountains. It was peaceful up there chilly, cooler, brisk -but the higher elevation cleared his head and suddenly his heart began to speak,

“Sometimes you need different experiences; new experiences; unplanned ones - to grow to your deeper potential. They come as surprises… welcome and unwelcome… and take you off what you think is your path - but no, it’s your path to grow your heart now, to be able to see past people struggling, and decide how you want to be, and this will make you strong, you will sleep well, no matter what's going on.. that’s your passage and how you get through… your heart on fire about your life, not strife. Decide how you want to be, and that will set you free.”
The young man inhaled the mountain air so sweet with pine needles, and decided all was well, and made his way back home, resolving to come back to the mountains more often, and take it one day at a time.”

It takes longer… there are just circumstances in the way. There are so many things to take care of from your past that come up … the past is quite present in 2021. 2021 Aquarius Now, your true plans and big long term plans can be embarked upon! 2021 Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Fire Signs: It seems hard for you to settle down and see what’s happening or put together something of the bigger picture. This year has a June, middle-of-the year vibration before there’s reason to act in some big way. It’s good not to be pinned down about what you’re doing until you’re ready to name it.
2021 Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, Water Signs You tend to have past life, karmic circumstances arise in relationships. There’s a lot that is stirred up and revealed this year from your deeper depths. What’s it all about? Moving forward, actually: going back in time to move forward is just how flexible and changeable water signs can be, and that’s a good thing this year - to be able to move in and out of awareness of what’s true, and what to do about it. Recording the messages I got on December 17th and 21st, I began to think I was losing it, mentioning so often that the different signs should wait for June, and “the middle of the year”. Recently, I looked up June 2021 in an ephemeris to see what was up, and on June 10th, there’s a new moon solar eclipse in the morning, then an hour later the moon conjuncts Mercury followed by Sun conjunct Mercury, and that is a celestial signal that soon, things can and will begin to move forward in a new direction. For whatever reason, in divination this eclipse shows as being especially significant for individuals, when they see the results of being committed to whatever they’re committed to, and what direction things are taking.
Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Fire Signs:Jupiter/Saturn conjunction for the Fire signs and your season ahead: You’re unusually clear headed this winter. Whatever is in your heart to do, and what’s within your capability, and what comes forward to support you, are all things that line up very well! It’s time to do!

2020 - Snakes in the Grass
Dear Friends,
Pretty exciting times in America’s ongoing reality tv show that is so for real – and soon we will know the state of our union. Fingers crossed we don’t descend into a monarchy!
The only other thing besides the fate of the world vying for my attention is a peek at the first rendition of my new website. I am so glad to be getting a new platform... there is nothing like the right new structure to inspire creativity and new visions for oneself!
On with the psychic news: almost all of these messages have been previously posted on my blog, but I just did the last pictograph about 2020 today, January 25th. I have made LOTS of psychic pictographs about 2020, trying to see what shows up in them. This latest one shows on the left side, half the year with Trump's presence (orange), and the Chinese being impacted by the new spreading virus. Both the virus and Trump’s coup are active dangers (red on right). It says of the media (yellow) and those controlling it, and the current power structure: “We’re still in power.” But underneath it all is a blue wave. I assume the 2020 voters want a new foundation for the country and turn a lot of places blue, but there’s a sense that the blue wave doesn’t crash and land on shore for a while…as an in-place power structure ready to go in 2021: that is not showing, at least not yet.
It is a beautiful sunny day in Santa Fe, and the faint hint of Spring is already in the mini-warm spell we're having. I hope you each have something to enjoy where you're at,and have a way to get where you're going in 2020!
May we all find the strength to surrender to the power of love in 2020, and be the happy, healthy people we’re meant to be.

Note: I just discovered I never posted a set of element horoscopes and messages for the year – instead I put the same content twice, in two different December 2019 blog posts. One message that got left out was for Santa Fe, NM in 2020 and farther into the future:
Tips for Santa Fe’s Future Success: First and foremost, preserve nature. Make it easy for people to connect with the earth and the sky. Keep the mountains pristine and everything simple up there. Keep Santa Fe casual and friendly. Build more things underground.
The 2016 “word of the year” was “Whaaaa?” as in being blown away at the surprise turn of world events… specifically, Donald Trump being elected president. The 2020 word of the year is an expletive sort of like that, representing more someone throwing their hands up at an out-of-control situation: “Aaauuughhh”. I sure hope that’s not in response to a second term for Trump. Or that in America, women’s reproduction rights, adequate public education, and a way for wild animals to move across the border, cease to exist.
There’s a second nickname for 2020: “Year of the Lean Machine”, meaning it’s successful for individuals and entrepreneurs to “be economic and self-sufficient and eschew excess.”
The United States: Fellow Citizens, all that really matters is that we’re the ones we’ve been waiting for on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020. Be there or be duped by a foreign power!
POWER in 2020: Controlling people really try to hold on in 2020 – they do not get remorseful; they get cunning. 2020 is about hanging on to power. Ongoing examples are and will be the Middle East’s battle to get the U.S. out of their lands while they have more of a chance. This week of impeachment trials, the Republican Senators have a unique chance to determine the fate of the country. And re power-grabbing, Putin appears to have set his sights on a level of control that the world has never seen.
INDIFFERENCE in 2020: Our collective indifference to Creation itself permeates societies worldwide and at all levels, from institutional to individual. Nature appears to be responding more and more violently to being made sick. Climate activist Greta Thunberg’s instant worldwide following is a sign that indifference is becoming a thing of the past, but in 2020 Greed and Power are cranked-up urges that have their sticky hands on the wheel and won’t let go.
The Speaking Stones: For many, 2020 is about establishing a new foundation for one’s life. The foundation of the U.S. has a woman’s influence more at the center of its infrastructure, so maybe Elizabeth Warren is elected and chooses a woman vice-president like Amy Klobuchar, but the Stones show that Trump is still very present, and suing everybody. (Using the cover of last Sunday’s New York Times supplement, a pendulum reading picked out Elizabeth Warren and Amy K. as the Democratic candidates for Prez and VP. But the next day I read that the Times itself had picked those two candidates, so it clouded the pendulum reading: was it picking up on who the Times had already picked, or who the Democrats pick soon?)
Trump’s Impeachment Trial and the Stars: It feels like coming up is the most dramatic and important week with the Senate impeachment trial beginning Tuesday January 21st. It takes place under the influence of Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn, sign of oppressive government regimes, and this being a “government show” we’re likely to see how a government shuts down the people. The trial week ends with a new moon in Aquarius squared Uranus… Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, making this an extra bold time when people do the unthinkable. Don’t expect the Republicans to behave. Don’t expect anyone to behave appropriately, if pushed. (On the upside, there’s potent cosmic energy to fuel those individuals “daring to succeed”, and trying to break out of ruts.)
Trump either goes down from lack of support, or he obliterates democracy. Hard to believe we could lose “the land of the free”, but I’ll believe what the Senate trial shows me to believe.
Good News: What is getting ready to multiply, impact, and affect us in a good way? The Speaking Stones say there will be innovative solutions about waste, garbage, clean water, and homelessness. Homelessness is a much bigger global issue in 2020. Also, advocates find new support for the creative arts; there are new ways for new talent to emerge; and some way that men see themselves is changing, and it allows them to be more compassionate and caring. Look for strange new forms of beauty appear in 2020, that’s quirky Uranus in Venus-ruled Taurus!

The following channeled messages are from right before the Winter Solstice, December 18-20 2019. Spoiler Alert: They are disturbing and of course I hope to God I’ve temporarily lost my mind and landed on an “Opposite World” channel. My intention, though, was to make myself receptive to what I could receive about this time and the year ahead, 2020:
“The Joker”: This is a reference to a character in a movie I didn’t see. The impression I got is that something with no integrity is what we collectively experience. (OMG, I just looked up “The Joker” on Wikipedia, and it describes a psychopath who loves chaos, a supervillain with no superpowers, just a pathological, sadistic s.o.b. I assume the message is that we will be dealing with Trump at his sickest.)
“The Adults Can’t Take Care of the Children This Year”: People are especially preoccupied with their own changes and personal worlds; more people find it difficult to make big changes in society’s structure. Collectively, adults don't act like responsible adults this year when it comes to kids. The Earth too… it turns away in despair, like a young woman refused. Only the strong survive.
The Era of Corporate Power: “They Got This Sewn Up in 2018”. I didn’t know what spirit meant about 2018. Googling “2018 rulings impacting corporations”, the headlines are: "Banner Year for Corporations, Business Wins Big in Supreme Court", and so on. Whatever gains corporations made in 2018 lay a foundation for corporations to become and stay powerful, according to the message. In terms of the USA's changing identity, it’s not really the U.S.A. now… global corporate identities grow in strength, and become more defining and like a national identity.
“There’s a dark power in New York”: This is so vague, but looking online tonight at the New York Times headlines, it says there was a big crackdown today on Long Island of the gang “MS-13”, with 96 charged (December 20, 2019). It could be that because this is super-recent and active in NY, it came through to me as a message.
“Land is Going to be Taken Away”. This is the about the issue of land being taken along southern U.S. border to build “The Wall”.

U.S.A.: Its isolated and disenfranchised populations are in pain. The country as a whole goes through the experience of becoming increasingly isolated from other countries. Politicians have their eye on 2020 and that’s where their energy is going; current social wounds stay bleeding. Eventually, where we’re headed is to forge a new collective American identity, one that can heal us from our division. Meanwhile, it’s hell here for a lot of people.

No matter what is happening out in the world, in our personal universes, the planets compel us to reach determinedly for our true desires. It’s a wonderful year for satisfying a curious mind that’s fixed on specific ambitions. It’s a good year to make a list of what you want for yourself, and then keep track of the journey.
I don’t know how else to put it, but a lot of people choose to burn in hell this year. Expect bad behavior as the dams inside people burst…not a good year to expect the respecting of boundaries. What to do to better the world and better yourself in 2018? Be the change you want to see! Strengthen your connection to your own higher self. Pay attention to your intuition. Honor your heart’s desire to be free and let your intuition get through to you, knowing it speaks for your heart and what’s in your best interest.
There’s a lot of change afoot, and 2018 brings opportunities to make a break for what’s more the truth for you now. So although bad behaviors are going to be in the news, they happen in an energetic field of opportunity; do with it what you will.

For all signs: Before you plunge into the New Year, it’s good to make room for it by taking inventory of what you could stop doing to make the needed space. The concept of ‘making room’ and putting it to work can give you many new insights and ideas in January. However you choose to restructure your life, prioritize your own health and the daily habits that maintain it.
Fire signs, Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius: A mightily creative year if you can carve and claw your way through initial challenges, and get to that creativity. Are you being stubborn in some way? Don’t make it so hard to change! Don’t try to move so fast, either. It’s going to be a great year but it may not start that way. If there’s something in your life that takes a lot to overcome, this year you think you can probably do it. For successful change, there has to be a lot of preparation so that you areready to go through territory that’s new. Your satisfactions are going to change, and how you are paid can change. Your offerings might become more mainstream or reach more people.
Aries: This is looking like a very big business year for you. You might buy something or sell something, meaning you figure out a new way when it comes to wealth accumulation and career success. There can be a strong jump to the upside in your fortune and finances.
Leo: There’s more money or more work coming your way. More of the same, as if things likely grew last year and they’re continuing to prove successful and lead to better circumstances. There can be change in relationships with women. Expect a lot of discoveries this year, including perhaps a different way to live. Different people are presenting more opportunity, an ongoing development. Travel is beneficial, and you might take a bigger trip than usual. You love, appreciate, and take better care of yourself this year.
Sagittarius: Something seems done. The curtains are closing on one chapter of your life, and you’re getting adjusted to new environments…and wanting new relationships. There are a lot of new things that you want, but one thing at a time. It looks you have to spend more time trying to get established before you can get things going with other people.
Water signs, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces: The water signs are quite preoccupied with the future, but if you are trying to plan, the playing field or goals can change this year, so it’s not a good time to insist that you figure out your life. What you want for your future and your ideas are subject to change, which you might become aware of in some kind of “breakthrough” fashion. Being well-established where you’re at, you can still be looking for some place to go. Manifesting your dreams will require a lot of coordination and connections, “yeses”, and readiness. You’ll learn a lot in the process, and you will be able to root yourself in the right place if you let things happen naturally, and follow the signs as they appear.
Cancer: At first you don’t see what to do and it’s better to sit tight then to act, and when in doubt, don’t, but then partnership support shows up, or better order to your life develops. In other words that lack of vision doesn’t last, and you can see your way to what feels right.
Scorpio: You can do very well and feel a tremendous amount of success! You can get something that you need. It makes you feel successful in new territory. Now you can venture out into the world in new ways.
Pisces: On a practical level, you must be careful that your plans are supported by facts and feedback. It is possible that something you desire or look forward to what can be overwhelming or hard on you in some way. You can be affected by circumstances that make it safer to play it by ear.
Air signs, Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius: Relationships and partnerships can demand that you become stronger. Your response to any changing scenario is to rely on your own strength. If you’ve got a new idea or want to try new things, consider doing them in places that are not so familiar to you; they can have advantages in terms of costs, for instance. It’s more important for you to be able to make it work than to know the place. You’re out in the world with new people, new relationships, having to use new skills and also to develop new skills. There’s something rough and tumble about the year – a lot of new learning experiences – and it all makes you a lot stronger.
Gemini: You have very strong ambitions that may have been thwarted for some time. You’re really trying to get to higher ground and a better place. That strong pull to get you into different circumstances is coming from your sense of what’s going to make you happy! This year, somehow you can do the impossible. Things can look bleak and then work out, and work out better than you expect.
Libra: The focus this year can be on children, your health, and keeping things balanced. Being able to make changes and pay for it all is also on your mind. It’s a pretty grounded, earthy year of dealing with the material world. At the same time, 2018 can be a year you try to make a big change or are adjusting to a big change, one that takes quite a while to play out. You are somehow around “new rules”.
Aquarius: There’s nothing like experience and trying something new to give you the information you need, so don’t settle with anything that’s not making you want to take root. You’re in the seeking mode on all kinds of levels about what you believe in, and what feels like home in terms of your ideals and values. You want to know what the world is needing from you, too.
Earth Signs, Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn: The need to make changes to how one’s life is structured in ways that make it more practical and serving of your ambitions, is a hallmark of Saturn in Capricorn. The earth signs will feel this especially. This year, the lag time between desire and manifestation can be frustrating, though. Inside yourself, you might feel it’s time to go, to change, to leave behind the familiar. Yet something you can conceive of is still not possible for some reason. The timing might be that it serves you to stay connected to your familiar roles and activities for a little longer. This goes double for Taurus beginning mid-May when Uranus moves into Taurus.
Taurus: Once again, you may want to make a switch in your focus and seek something new…it looks as if you’re strongly seeking satisfaction this year and are willing to try new things to achieve it. The journey is what’s important this year, and the necessary steps you’re taking - not whether you completely rearrange an aspect of your life. Something new comes into your life that you get the hang of by September.
Virgo: Positive developments, circumstances that make you happy, are the more likely outcome to whatever your concerns may be…worry looks unfounded. The year’s events work out well for you. (Note: when the message is short like this, it doesn't mean there's a dearth of activity; it means it can be hard to see ahead about all that happens and its impact...the assurance is it ends with you being fine with changes.)
Capricorn: The new places and magical places you want to get to are in reach… Mystery is your pilot, and where you’re going is more the new truth for you, and also financially and in terms of opportunity, everything in the new direction and new environments looks successful. You’re carving out a lot for yourself, you’ve got a lot of energy and endurance this year, and it’s a very good one for you!
2018 Psychic Predictions, The Speaking Stones, and More

Don’t Reinvent the Wheel: Take shortcuts and do what’s expedient. It’s easy to get sidelined in the weeds with projects if you try to reinvent the wheel.
Do It Cheaply: “Trying things” will be what many want to do with Uranus going into creative Taurus this year. Follow your heart but it can have an obscure path to success. 2018 can also bring megahit innovations that disrupt an industry or an old way of thinking or doing things. Since wild ideas can work wonders or not, experiment as cheaply as possible.

Interesting Shamanistic Technique to Stay Present and bless your day: This is an adaptation of something I learned from a Peruvian shaman. It’s a way to get present before you leave your house, and also a way of blessing your house and yourself before you go out into the world. The catch: Remembering to do it when you’re at the door! Technique: Before you open the door to go outside first thing in the morning, first stand to the side of the door, then open it and intend to let in good spirits, fresh air and light. Intend the positive energy to clean and refresh your house from whatever happened in it the day before. Doing that, you've put yourself in the present; wish yourself the best and walk out the door to see what the day brings.
Neat Holiday Game to Play with Friends and Family: My sister-in-law wrote a great Christmas letter and it included a holiday activity that’s worth sharing : “We don't exchange gifts with each other but we did a very nice activity together: each of us brought four copies of a reading, something that could be read in less than an hour, and at various times over the three days we sat by the fire with coffee, tea or wine, read one of them simultaneously but silently, and then discussed them. We all chose very different and very interesting readings (some fiction, some nonfiction) and the discussions were great.”

Home Remedy for a Funk: I got very scared a year ago, not knowing whether I'd recover physically from a bad accident. When a client who is in long-term recovery from an accident told me what she does to get through the hard times, I wanted to share her personal ritual - it's like many out there but it works...it reminded me of what I spent hours doing (in the bathtub!), trying to help my body heal. Sometimes it takes a setback to get it together!
If this inspires you to do your own thing to help yourself, all it has to do is include:
1. Making the in-the-moment choice to change the inner conversation.
2. Telling yourself things that ring true about how you want to be healthy in body and mind.
3. Allowing ourselves to become re-inspired.
The first might be to talk to yourself. Here are the specific words that help my client snap out of a stuck and fearful place: She begins by repeating in her mind the words she finds steadying and calming:
“(I have) absolute faith, absolute trust in myself and my healing.
I’m strong, and my body is healing.
It is my design, right, and true nature to be happy and well.
I know, trust, and believe (I am healing); I know, trust, and believe.”
Then she might sit in meditation with all her positive things around her, open up a Louise Hay book randomly, and read a passage. Whatever she chooses, she thinks that what directed her to those particular messages she finds so inspiring, are her own spirit guides and angels.
(Now she has given herself an attitude adjustment!)
Another way to lift your spirits if you are physically able, is afterwards, to put on some music and dance. Your body will show you an attitude shift or a new freedom of spirit in the way you move. Don't think about it, just see what happens to the music!
U.S.A. 2017: Very Divided, No Bridge Back
Today is September 3rd, Labor Day Weekend...nine months into 2017. Beyond the mortification I feel for not having updated it sooner, it's interesting to read the prediction about a new wind/weather phenomenon. With Irma coming, is this description alluding to a string of damaging hurricanes this season?
(from the January 2017 newsletter): "NEW WEATHER DISTURBANCE? I'm not sure what this is but it came through in a drawing when I was asking for relevant info about the year. It was a natural phenomenon that involves winds and water, and changes environmental conditions in the future. It felt like something coming back to bite us. I drew a circular pattern of “winds” like trade winds, which create some disturbance in the tides or seas, and this looping-back dynamic affects winds and ultimately impacts people."
This first post is the January newsletter first published January 8th 2017; and then the February 18th update with eclipse and money messages for the fire, water, air and earth signs:
3rd Update January 28th, 2017: OMG, I left out the “word for the year!” (Last year’s was “Whaaaaaaa?”, a fitting expression for the astonishing fact we elected someone who disappeared our democracy!) I was not happy with this year’s, I did it twice: First, it was the word “Ugh”. Next, it was the expression “Off the Rails!” which felt like an irresponsible, fear-creating way of summing up the year, and I conveniently forgot it in the final copy of this newsletter. But now I have proof it’s the right expression - at least for the first week of the Trump administration. (I posted these updates on January 28th on LinkedIn, but forgot to add this one to my own site - it's now February 12th and "Off the Rails" is getting more out-there by the day.)
January 18th UPDATE: I finally understand, three weeks later, what the Speaking Stones were showing me on the Winter Solstice 2016 about Trump and the people in power now.
The Speaking Stones showed Trump on top of a tangle of hidden roots, people who had dealings with each other for decades, and were in a "coup" position, an international group that Trump was the face for. It seemed too extreme a picture, showing me a hidden power base, a hidden agenda of power-seekers and power-grabbers. I toned down this interpretation for my newsletter, see below. But my first impression may have been the Stones reflecting collusion between the Trump campaign and Putin, and the hidden business interests of the giantly wealthy.
Is Trump’s time in office so short-lived it, he doesn’t register on a psychic level? I just can’t see him or feel him there…I wonder why. I knew he was going to win the election; I felt that strongly when the Clinton campaign betrayed Bernie and his followers in early 2016. It will be hard for Trump to stay in office this year…between the first solar eclipse in February and the second one in August, the forces should push things along to ejection phase.
January 11th: 1st UPDATE: The first info I got on the Winter solstice 2016 for the year ahead was no fun: it was a pictograph, and showed 2017 on the left, and a long arrow representing the whole year, and it said, "Very fast, very bad."
Another left-out message in the 2017 newsletter posted below, now that I go through the notes, is that China would grow in strength.
Gold would go up and down and then up towards the end of the year.
People will spend time trying to figure out, "What happened (in America)?" This can be a way of not dealing with radical change that has befallen us, one and all. The only effective thing to do if what's happened can't be stopped, is to take action to create another, preferred change.
The stock market looked like it would go quite down according to another pictograph, but it's my understanding this is highly unlikely and not what's expected; maybe the pic just registering volatility. The Uranian influence on the year suggests volatility.

Happy New Year! I don’t have too much to write at the moment, as I got sidelined this December by a bike accident on an icy road, and have been letting my body mend at home. I’m not making this up, it’s been a blessing in disguise. It’s good to get your life interrupted every once and awhile! I've had time to think about material-world matters I generally ignore. Now I'm back on my feet and busy with work here in Santa Fe (did not hit my head!), but except for not planning to ride my bike in winter, I haven't thought much about the New Year yet.

I’ve read ancient prophecies foretelling the decline of future civilizations, and they usually begin with a statement about power getting into the wrong hands. The U.S. president elect brags about assaulting women, makes fun of disabled people, and actively discourages a free press. Let’s hope it doesn’t turn out like it’s likely to.
Various divining techniques show that the country “takes a fall”. We are divided, and we don’t yet have a way to get back together. The United States is more of a dangerous place and a target.
It’s likely that cutting out the established power in Washington will bring some positive developments. However, my Speaking Stones emphasize how the true power players in the new Washington have their hidden power-grabbing agenda they are allegiant to, and can’t be swayed. Much will be hidden from the public. The collective sentiment can grow into: “We’re going to have to take the power back!” Worldwide, “power” is a big issue this year.
Billionaires may come through with a lot of gifts, helping to educate Americans. At this time there is a kind of veil over the future in regards to what to expect. Changes wrought seem to disrupt peoples’ money flow.
NATURE: Nature suffers big losses beginning now…loss of species, habitat, protection, etc. Also, Native Americans are vulnerable because of new state or federal policies.

SIGNIFICANT STAR PATTERNS IN EFFECT IN 2017
As an omen for the New Year, it doesn’t get any more striking than early January’sSun conjunct Pluto. On a personal level, now the deepest, darkest roadblocks to change can finally begin to dissolve in the heat and the need for change. The cosmic forces are intense that guide our transformation. But hang in there, Sun conjunct Pluto also connects us to the light; it’s associated with the process of bringing the dark into the light, and allowing love to grow. A lot of healing and vibrant creative expressions go on in 2017, as the Self is freed to love again.
As an influence on societies and governments, Sun conjunct Pluto can bring out the dark side: bloody revolts, terrorism, racism, hate crimes…the usual suspects when people are willing to be a channel for the negative thought forms our collective consciousness produces. Expect outbursts of ugly behavior, and keep the focus on creating an alternative.
The New Moon Solar Eclipses of February 26thand August 21st, 2017: Mars is conjunct Uranus the day of February’s eclipse. This can bring sudden upsets that impact society, as well as sudden breakthroughs. Be careful out in the world, people can act recklessly and be self-centered.
How to work with the eclipse energy personally:In the right hands, these planetary energies are potent game-changers. Tremendous innovations and technological breakthroughs are possible this year, and creative people will be particularly energized under this new moon’s influence. You can use this energy to throw yourself into a challenging project that’s got your name on it when all is said and done. Expect creative breakthroughs when you direct your energy at a positive goal.
The August 21 new moon solar eclipsewill literally make the day dark in parts of the United States. The news could be dramatic. Whatever direction things are going, the speed of change ramps up. The eclipse happens near Regulus, a star associated with governments and leaders, and an omen of change in leadership.
Personally: In Leo, this eclipse is like a burst of energy from the stars that empowers the creative self. Opportunities can now come to you and lift you up, especially if you have been laying the groundwork for what you want to do.

Today is September 3rd, Labor Day Weekend...nine months into the year I was supposed to post the January 2017 newsletter and its updates. Mortifying as my failure as an updater is, correcting this led to my review of what I wrote for this year of come-uppances from Nature and Fate.
First, the January newsletter first published January 8th 2017; and then the February 18th update with eclipse and money messages for the fire, water, air and earth signs:
3rd Update January 28th, 2017: OMG, I left out the “word for the year!” (Last year’s was “Whaaaaaaa?”, a fitting expression for the astonishing fact we elected someone who disappeared our democracy!) I was not happy with this year’s, I did it twice: First, it was the word “Ugh”. Next, it was the expression “Off the Rails!” which felt like an irresponsible, fear-creating way of summing up the year, and I conveniently forgot it in the final copy of this newsletter. But now I have proof it’s the right expression - at least for the first week of the Trump administration. (I posted these updates on January 28th on LinkedIn, but forgot to add this one to my own site - it's now February 12th and "Off the Rails" is getting more out-there by the day.)
January 18th UPDATE: I finally understand, three weeks later, what the Speaking Stones were showing me on the Winter Solstice 2016 about Trump and the people in power now.
The Speaking Stones showed Trump on top of a tangle of hidden roots, people who had dealings with each other for decades, and were in a "coup" position, an international group that Trump was the face for. It seemed too extreme a picture, showing me a hidden power base, a hidden agenda of power-seekers and power-grabbers. I toned down this interpretation for my newsletter, see below. But my first impression may have been the Stones reflecting collusion between the Trump campaign and Putin, and the hidden business interests of the giantly wealthy.
Is Trump’s time in office so short-lived it, he doesn’t register on a psychic level? I just can’t see him or feel him there…I wonder why. I knew he was going to win the election; I felt that strongly when the Clinton campaign betrayed Bernie and his followers in early 2016. It will be hard for Trump to stay in office this year…between the first solar eclipse in February and the second one in August, the forces should push things along to ejection phase.
January 11th: 1st UPDATE: The first info I got on the Winter solstice 2016 for the year ahead was no fun: it was a pictograph, and showed 2017 on the left, and a long arrow representing the whole year, and it said, "Very fast, very bad."
Another left-out message in the 2017 newsletter posted below, now that I go through the notes, is that China would grow in strength.
Gold would go up and down and then up towards the end of the year.
People will spend time trying to figure out, "What happened (in America)?" This can be a way of not dealing with radical change that has befallen us, one and all. The only effective thing to do if what's happened can't be stopped, is to take action to create another, preferred change.
The stock market looked like it would go quite down according to another pictograph, but it's my understanding this is highly unlikely and not what's expected; maybe the pic just registering volatility. The Uranian influence on the year suggests volatility.

Happy New Year! I don’t have too much to write at the moment, as I got sidelined this December by a bike accident on an icy road, and have been letting my body mend at home. I’m not making this up, it’s been a blessing in disguise. It’s good to get your life interrupted every once and awhile! I've had time to think about material-world matters I generally ignore. Now I'm back on my feet and busy with work here in Santa Fe (did not hit my head!), but except for not planning to ride my bike in winter, I haven't thought much about the New Year yet.

Various divining techniques show that the country “takes a fall”. We are divided, and we don’t yet have a way to get back together. The United States is more of a dangerous place and a target.
It’s likely that cutting out the established power in Washington will bring some positive developments. However, my Speaking Stones emphasize how the true power players in the new Washington have their hidden power-grabbing agenda they are allegiant to, and can’t be swayed. Much will be hidden from the public. The collective sentiment can grow into: “We’re going to have to take the power back!” Worldwide, “power” is a big issue this year.
Billionaires may come through with a lot of gifts, helping to educate Americans. At this time there is a kind of veil over the future in regards to what to expect. Changes wrought seem to disrupt peoples’ money flow.
NATURE: Nature suffers big losses beginning now…loss of species, habitat, protection, etc. Also, Native Americans are vulnerable because of new state or federal policies.
NEW WEATHER DISTURBANCE? I'm not sure what this is but it came through in a drawing when I was asking for relevant info about the year. It was a natural phenomenon that involves winds and water, and changes environmental conditions in the future. It felt like something coming back to bite us. I drew a circular pattern of “winds” like trade winds, which create some disturbance in the tides or seas, and this looping-back dynamic affects winds and ultimately impacts people.
SIGNIFICANT STAR PATTERNS IN EFFECT IN 2017
As an omen for the New Year, it doesn’t get any more striking than early January’sSun conjunct Pluto. On a personal level, now the deepest, darkest roadblocks to change can finally begin to dissolve in the heat and the need for change. The cosmic forces are intense that guide our transformation. But hang in there, Sun conjunct Pluto also connects us to the light; it’s associated with the process of bringing the dark into the light, and allowing love to grow. 2016 in a word: “…Whaaa?” As the pictograph states, “out of control” and “things don’t get solved” describe the collective experience: People are surprised, caught off-guard, and incredulous about all sorts of natural and man-made things that occur. However, here are some constructive things that look like they happen:
Re 2015 Paris Climate Change Accord: People feel like it won’t do anything, it won’t be enforced but actually, although at first it’s a way of making money for people, it is a step forward, and can create a foundation that can be built on.
More people take in refugees, once they adjust to the new reality that they’re coming. Acceptance is stronger the second half of the year.
Gun violence laws are put together so it’s a different and better situation in the U.S.

Navigating the Four Mercury Retrogrades of 2016
The first mercury retrograde of the year could feel like a short three weeks, January 5th -25th. To take advantage, plan what you want to clean up, clear out, get straight, and review. It will be action-packed…keep it tightly orchestrated so it goes your way!
The second Mercury retrograde is April 28th –May 23rd. A good time for a vacation and Cinco de Mayo celebrations! It will seem like a long three weeks. A lot happens to people in this period and they’ll be digesting and processing it for awhile. In the middle of it, there’s a rare lucky day when the Sun conjuncts Mercury in Cancer and Jupiter goes direct: May 9th. On that Monday, you can have deep and clear understandings that release you into an expansive forward motion. This is a good day to get things cleared up and move on.
There’s a “Friday the 13th” during this second Mercury retrograde, which turns out to be Stephen Colbert’s birthday according to my calendar. If it’s your birthday too, Mercury conjuncts Venus on that day: expect to have an especially creative year. It’s a very good night for anyone to go out on a date, have a good time, and find love! (…for Stephen Colbert, his birthday retrograde means his show will be a giant success in 2017, compared to 2016.)
Last but not least in this Mercury retrograde period, there’s a full moon in Sagittarius on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 21st. The moon is conjunct Mars; it can be a great party night but this aspect also incites warlike actions. It’s a highly reactive time, when people can misread cues. It’s best to be a laid-back person and sail through others’ inconsistencies…choose to enjoy people and have fun that weekend.
The third Mercury retrograde is August 29th through September 22nd, and this is going to complicate back-to-school preparations and kids getting used to what’s new. Be generous with others and forgive them their mis-steps because it’s very easy to be nit-picky during this period. The best use of the time is focus on what you want to begin, grow, and perfect, but only for yourself!
The last Mercury retro of the year is December 19th to January 8 2017, starting right before the Winter Solstice, the day that is the omen-giver for the coming year. This last retrograde indicates that the coming year will be about creating greater balance and justice, by initiating a lot of corrective efforts.
January 2015 Horoscopes and Predictions for the Year

I can't tell you anything too cheerful because I've spent New Years nursing a cold, but I hope to entertain you with what I've been reading while lying here: "Edgar Cayce on Religion and Psychic Experience", which details some of the world's greatest psychic's amazing feats. Cayce was unique in the scope and detail of what he could see while in a hypnotic trance. Once, instead of ending his trance session in the customary way that his staff was used to, he indicated there was one more reading to do, and began doing a reading for someone who was not on the day's lsit. It was for a girl away at college whose mother was known to the Cayces, who had fallen off her dorm bed and needed medical attention. Cayce described the situation and the kind of care she needed. The people in the room immediately called the girl's mother, who didn't know anything about it - but it turned out to be true, and Cayce's reading was very helpful in that emergency. (Sadly in his own life, Cayce was not able to follow the stark and accurate guidance he got to cut down on his daily sessions or it would kill him.)
Cayce believed that nobody has to have extra special perception to be successful or spiritually fulfilled, they just had to listen to what rang clear within them. "Be true to the best you know, and the next will be given to you." was was all one needed to know. That's great advice for twisty-turny 2015! To not need to know but to be true to one's changing self and see where it takes one. Although I hope to see some of you in my reading room here in Santa Fe...

Intuitive Impressions of 2015
Experiences in 2015 can be jolting, and lots of little mistakes made. Ignore them! And everybody else's bloopers too...you will have a much better time. The atmosphere is less pressured the second half of this changing, moving year. Ultimately your consciousness will rise, and so will the collective's. Many have a change of course.
Work hard and on faith until February, time of Aquarius. With creative projects, you have to be okay with rehearsal, repetition, and making a consistent effort for a couple of months.
Expect that important goals can take awhile. Perseverance is needed before there's a big breakthrough (with many likely in August); never give up!
"Freedom" is an even stronger rallying cry than in 2014, and there are also more bans lifted and more freedom allowed. It becomes easier to breathe if you're different. Human rights groups get stronger but extremists in many forms continue their own savage course, and a lot of people die in battles. Police in police states and U.S.A. continue their aggression.
What to make of all of it...just keep moving forward and don't give up on your dreams!
2015 defies pat descriptions because what defines it is its fluidity. Positive or negative, great energy flows into whatever you're creating, and you'll produce a lot of it. Although it thought it was a major feat to produce the January 2015 newsletter while mostly sick as a dog, I did leave out quite a few messages. Here are a few more insights about the year:
Prosperity in 2015: Success comes most easily from bringing to fruition things that have already started. Successful productions are well-crafted and sustainable. Successful actions include more networking, and getting more into your community professionally, and finding what’s more fruitful right where you’re at. Success comes through moderation, including branching out to incorporate new things and create a more well-rounded life.
For those alone and/or starting over in some important way: You are also moving into freedom, and that is the right, feel-good direction to be going in 2015. Notice first that your feelings are stronger about what is right and wrong for you. That’s what you’re given first to guide you, your inner sense. Your life plans will become clearer and grow in structure so that by August, you have a better idea of where things are going. Expect that a good part of this year is a process to ultimately stabilize you and make your income source clearer. You are given your stronger feelings to trust, and that’s all you need at first, is a response from your inner self, the voice you are learning to trust and have faith in. This voice can prompt you more strongly now. Its most important job is to guide, nudge, and lead you to what will uniquely fulfill you and make you happy. Spend some time daily listening to what your inner guidance gives you to pay attention to, and know it can interrupt your day at any time to let you know something helpful – that is its job, also. You can trust your wise inner self, but you can make it much more useful by asking for its guidance and exercising it. USA: For some reason more significant change is wrought in this year than many others. Things might go better than expected for President Obama. (My 2014 prediction for him was accurate, but it’s hard to imagine this one is.)
