It’s gorgeous here today, the cottonwoods are turning from green to gold, the clumps of pink grasses are once again decorating the roadsides, and Santa Fe is getting ready for its Columbus Day celebration on the plaza, now Indigenous Day. Beginning at 8 am October 9^th, you can enjoy Indian pueblo dances, music and ceremonies to mark the occasion!

Psychic Insights for Fall 2017

Of all these messages, perhaps the most important is “how so much gets stirred up this Fall”, by the planets, by society erupting and probably volcanoes, and by individuals who are pushed perilously past their boundaries. There’s a lot to respond to. It’s more important than ever to take time out to get centered, and release all you’ve taken in from the world.

It is easy to overlook the need to slough off the energetic accumulation from living. It can show up as feeling icky and that you’re just in a bad mood, but perhaps you’re weighed down what you absorbed from the news and what you were exposed to the day before. Like brushing your teeth, releasing the past and refreshing your spirit needs to be done regularly.

Fall 2017 Overview

Fall 2017 is about new opportunities appearing, as if someone threw a handful of new options into our lives. Amazing innovations and surprising breakthroughs appear more in the Spring of 2018, but they’re getting close to emerging this Fall. Focus on the possibilities, and eliminate people and circumstances that restrict you.

Everything changes, things get more serious; people realize and re-assess what is important, who is important, and what’s important for them to do now.

Another era starts. It’s the “It’s what you make of it” and “It’s what you do with what you’ve got” era.

Fall energy is urgent: there’s a fire in the belly to get things done, or to get to the bottom of things. No longer do you feel like putting off what’s been laying around to do.

Be fiscally conservative! The way to succeed financially is to slow down spending, look at what you’ve accumulated, and then cancel some subscriptions or quit a costly habit.

Society and Nature in Fall 2017

The needs of children: An emerging priority may be making life as normal as possible for kids. What’s regular and routine can be a blessing to nervous children. New levels of disorder can be mitigated by new routines.

In the U.S: New construction and new babies – anybody could predict that after the storms!

Black Sky: Although I hope for good reason North Korea and the U.S. do not appear to be going to war, I do see a very black sky representing some Fall event. A volcano turns the sky black, fires turn the sky black, and bombs turn the sky black. Future bombing seems more to do with Middle East issues and Russia.

Where there’s a Will there’s a Way: Concerned citizens network and problem solve in some new and effective ways. The genius of many is unleashed on today’s problems. An inspired invention to meet the needs of a poor country can create a revolution in health and well-being. People yearn to belong and create a positive force. New roads undetected suddenly open up before one when they least expect it.

Small Businesses: There are so many new little tiny businesses… some places on planet Earth again find a way to live in harmony with many buzzing mini-hives of activity. Your small business: Find a way to stand out this season! Develop a deeper understanding of your brand, and a bolder proclamation of it. Above all, attend to details…customers are going to appreciate the order they see.

NOTABLE FALL 2017 STARS

A super-active October sky brings opportunity – so much can happen! The planets portend the potential for much reckoning, too. Libra represents the scales of justice and dominates the month. Partnerships and unity grow stronger, partly because people more smartly band together and more boldly stick together. In the U.S., a uniting leader has not shown up yet…maybe growing unity will bring a leader forth.

Mercury trines Pluto exactly on the Autumnal Equinox, September 22^nd. This is a big omen that we are willing to dive deep into whatever is going on within us or around us. New understandings reveal the crux of the matter, and armed with the real story, we can move forward.

Out in the world, what’s been hidden can come to light. Supposedly this October we’ll learn more about a mystery that’s fascinated America for decades, the Kennedy assassination. A headline on the Equinox read “We’re on the verge of learning who assassinated JFK.

October 5^th The Harvest Moon in Aries: Under the full moon, plow into your own agenda, damn the torpedoes, what do you want to get done for yourself? Make something operate to be more of a benefit to you.

October 26^TH Sun conjunct Jupiter: When these two planets conjunct, it can be “the luckiest day of the year”. It’s when things can really bump up in scope and energy. It’s easy to be magnanimous now and optimistic, but be careful not to overdo or overindulge. Before the day is out, note your progress in life, and visualize making some more…a great day for a magic spell!

Mercury Retrograde December 3^rd-22^nd: On the last full moon of the year, Mercury goes retrograde for three weeks. Mercury is also trine Uranus, and this stimulates innovations, revelations, and psychic development. It can also be when people tend to overspend and overextend their energy, and when the lure of escapism and addictive behavior is high. Wildfires can be intense in California and other high-risk places. I’m also concerned about one of the Fall pictographs I made, it looks like the stock market could take a dive.

About Creativity: Flexibility is demanded of artists and creators of all kinds. Their mode of expression might be changing, or what they want to apply themselves to. This October, allow for the New that wants to come through.

About Money and Expansion: Only projects that show harmony and synergy are likely to be the pragmatic move; investments need to show they are workable as they move towards manifestation. You only want a business opportunity that furthers your cause.

World Events and Natural Catastrophes: It’s another season of emergencies. Nature’s waters and peoples’ emotions are choppy and powerfully roiled. People can expect a lot to happen in and out of their lives.

What to Avoid in Fall 2017

ISOLATING: Make the effort to make new friends, the stars say Yes! However, give people the space they need, you never know what another person is going through.

CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE: Unless it’s your inner calling to practice civil disobedience, this Fall it’s better to follow the rules. The petty tyrants have been emboldened, although their power is on the wane. As the travesties pile up, people are going to care, people are going to take notice. But this isn’t a good season to risk incarceration. Expect a lot of prison-like and military looking facilities to be built, a response to natural disasters and civil disobedience.

JUDGING OTHERS: There are people with too much on their mind and this slows them down – lower your expectations of peoples’ capacities – a lot of people are walking around shell-shocked.

ON THE OTHER HAND, AVOID BEING LATE: Be on time this Fall, it’s those little signs of respect for order that make everything go ‘round better.

GIVE A WIDE BERTH TO: Anything or anyone peculiar. Any peculiar acting out should make you do the equivalent of: “Cross the street and change direction”. Do not proceed where you are uneasily giving a situation the benefit of the doubt. Even if there’s nothing peculiar to alert you, if you’re signing a contract, crossing the street, or accepting an invitation, listen to your “illogical” intuition if it balks, because it’s got your best interests in mind.

Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Air Signs: Your Fall Money Story: “There were a lot of possibilities about how things could go, but they were escalating in directions that were causing an awful lot of fights.” Whatever circumstance unfolds this Fall allows a chapter of your life to be over and done with. There is some consequence in your life that brings you peace of mind, where you can say, “All is well.”

Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Earth Signs: “What’s the simplest way to get ahead?” It’s to be working on what’s new, what is a work in progress. Keep going and keep it up! This is some new direction that feels good now. It can bring in more money than what you are doing, so it’s worthwhile to be working on the new and not-yet-brought- out.

More for the Fire signs: This is when you’re considering how much money you’ve got, how much money you want to make, where you can be, and how long it’s going to last. It’s also an idealistic time where travel can inspire you, or just being away. You want to get on a higher level with yourself and in the world.

More for the Water signs: Some plan you’ve got could require too much energy. This is particularly not a good time to bite off more than you can chew or compromise your health.

More for the Air signs: Expect help and for someone to come forward with a partnership or plan that aids you, but also expect that it takes a long time for things to get going before that.

More for the Earth signs: It could be there’s a lot of work ahead, and that things need to be propped up more than once…pace yourself, you’re determined to put a lot in its place. Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched –expectations about what you are going to manifest in the material world can change.
