It’s not even Mercury Retrograde yet (September 17th), and I’m already acting like it…communication gets sticky and tricky and I never hit the publish button on my September newsletter…it’s at www.elissaheyman.com/newsletters.html
A lot of you have reported how you’re baking away, wherever you are, and here in Santa Fe, it’s been refreshingly rainy. Last weekend I had the chance to meander through rural and wild New Mexico, and everything is oh so green! I was on my way to Chaco Canyon, the Anasazi site that was a meeting place for people coming from all directions, where they had what amounts to a grand hotel for the visitors. They came to trade and do ceremonies and celebrate – it was Party Central in the ancient world!
On the Summer Solstice, the park service lets in a 100 people to observe the rising sun phenomenon, the engineering feat where a shaft of light shines through the East window of the ceremonial kiva.
Walking up to the kiva, which sits high on a rise and right in the middle of the canyon, only me and the other straggler, a Native American young man, seemed to notice a ways off, the tree full of turkey vultures. Its bare branches were loaded with the very, very big black birds.
After a few minutes of craning at the kiva floor, the expectant crowd of tourists began to disperse and complain about what a non-event the summer solstice turned out to be. A cloud had come up, covering the sun, and there was no “dagger of light” through the window.
I’ll bet anything that the original occupants would have taken it as a sign – as information – and not just that their expectations weren’t met. Between the vultures and the clouds, they would probably have not seen it as a thumbs-up from the Sun about peace and prosperity that Summer.
Time for Santa Feans to get their dancing shoes on! It’s the super-entertaining month of July and there will be African bands on the hill at St John’s College, dancing in the evenings on the plaza at the bandstand; the Taos powwow is coming up, and musicians from all over the world will be at the International Folk Art Market next weekend. I hope wherever you are, you can engage with the spirit of your place and hunt up some fun!

July 2015 Psychic Predictions and Insights
“Bring Back the Truth!”
July can be a revelatory month, sandwiched in between two full moons that bring to light so much more than usual.
July pulls no punches and shows people a lot of inescapable realities. In a person’s own life, what’s unsustainable very likely just stops working. Many changes go on and much ground is covered.
July 2015 Speaking Stones: The stone that’s left out of the design represents women and “doing the right thing”, i.e. what is nurturing and supports life. Translation: in July, all hell can break loose, but like June, when nine black people were gunned down in Charleston causing the U.S. to remove the Confederate flag everywhere, destructive acts will have consequences.
July events are created by the karma of what’s hidden, and when what’s hidden is the emerging collective need for truth and light, this is a positive event, such as a groundswell of united citizens.
Also, there was a suggestion of big slaughters and some countries fall apart, and people are absorbed into other places.
People receive more actionable news and confirmation of support the second half of the month. A lot of second chances are granted in July. (Although when I psychically wondered about Greece last week, it looked like they were off on their own.)
People have little use for the brakes in July, and things are likely to happen that set them off. People who are lukewarm about issues might get red-hot.
Last week I was experimenting with podcast features, such as the “word for the day”. It got freaky when I got to July 3rd, 4th, and 5th, the words respectively being: “news of attack”; “weird”; and “questions”. Sounds like a strange 4th of July if there’s anything to that.
War planet Mars and revolutionary Pluto are active around the new moon July 15th. This means violence and aggression in the hands of some; revolution in the hands of others; and in the hearts and minds of individuals engaged in their private challenges, a wake-up call about what’s needed to move forward.
Spiritual Guidance for Personal Improvement and an Enlightening Month: Make July “The Better Self-Management Month,” and don’t push yourself to your limits. Those two full moons this on the first and last day of the month signify that pressurized things can pop! Your body needs more support than usual. Show it love with regular physical maintenance routines.
From the Heart: The best use of your time in July is to make sure you’re not investing in things you don’t really enjoy and that don’t bring you happiness. There is the strong potential to make headway in planning and making something happen that’s truly fulfilling. Therefore, be very picky about what you choose, especially if it might go on for a long time. You’re never going to know for sure how things are going to turn out; all you can do is use your instincts to seek out harmony and joy and go for what you think will make you happy.
Possible bummer: Change for the better and getting what you want can involve taking a material loss. Another way to lose is to put faith in structure that obviously needs a make-over.
For the Lovelorn: There’s an opportunity to learn more deeply about where you stand with relationships in between these two full moons of July. Whatever you need to know is revealed now, that can put you at peace about relationships, and aware of your progress. Ask to accept whatever you need to, and look at any relevant truth on the way to fulfilling personal relationships.
July highlights leadership: Leaders of the world feel the most intense responsibility ever with the stakes so high. In the United States, in light of the presidential candidates’ official actions towards the earth, the skies, the people and the animals, there is only one leader who consistently demonstrates responsibility, and that’s Bernie Sanders. If the 99% read his 35 year voting record and presidential agenda, and then vote their interests, they will be taking the opportunity to live in a truly democratic country.
Psychic Messages for the Astrological Signs
Read your Sun, Moon, and Rising Signs
Fire signs, Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius: You can be stressed out this month because of things you want to accomplish, or ideas that must be tried yet prove to be quite a challenge. However, you want to see what can work and need to accept the stress. There’s also a tendency to try to do too much of everything. Stop it! And stop eating excessively, or anything else that burdens you unnecessarily. Your body will give you signs it can’t take it.
Water signs, Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces: Bam! Something is completely understood, arranged, and accepted that works well for you, and peace of mind is yours for figuring out this better way of doing things.
Air signs, Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius: Whatever it is that you’re working on, it looks like it gives you another idea. Some success or possibility you see really gets you excited and willing to commit…November is an important month in regard to whatever you’re thinking about now.
Earth signs, Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn: You’re excited about a new beginning, but because of constraints or human limits, you have to consider what kind of new beginning you can have. You know you’re going towards something more powerful in trying whatever it is you’re trying to do this month; you’re seeing what can be done and are changing your mind quite a bit. Carry on!
Everything’s hunky-dory this beautiful Spring in Santa Fe. But instead of a letter about what’s up with me, I want to tell you about some interesting contributors in the field of spiritual growth, healing, and personal transformation:
Recently-Discovered Resources and Teachers
I virtually met practitioner and metaphysical producer Belle Salisbury a couple of months ago. The writers contributing to her magazine impressed me, and I enjoyed perusing the extensive article archives. Bellesprit magazine is out of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and has a wide selection of predictions, guidance and spiritual growth columns. Many practitioners from other places also write for it, and it’s a resource center for people anywhere wishing to take online psychic development classes.
Another person doing interesting things is Jill Dutton, founder of EvolvingMagazine.com in Kansas City. Along with local associate producer Devon Jackson, Jill is bringing her conscious living magazine to town with a Santa Fe edition. It will feature local practitioners. Look for it this month around town, it’s free! The Kansas City edition is beautiful.
Mari Lyford of Albuquerque teaches a trauma-releasing technique — a series of exercises—I want to learn more about. They have proved successful in treating soldiers with PTSD. I’ve invited Mari to come up to Santa Fe for her two hour “Trauma Recovery Exercises” workshop. Held at 227 E. Palace Ave, Santa Fe, Sunday June 28th from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 pm. (blog article: http://tinyurl.com/nk735f5) I was excited to learn all the positive benefits Mari told me about since she’s been doing the exercises…more details in the June newsletter!
Alix Generous, mental health advocate and motivational speaker, is someone who came to me as a client when she was 14. Anyone so young who wants to visit a psychic is always an interesting person! Alix has gone on to college and much further: she has addressed the U.N., and is now getting ready for her second TED talk, about how her unique mind helps her solve complex scientific problems. Her story reminds me we are all learning the same thing, to appreciate ourselves. You can listen to the unusual, funny, and earthy Alix Generous here.
Have a wonderful month,
Love,
Elissa

Intuitive Impressions of May 2015
In May, change happens quickly; endings are thorough, and life moves on. The first week calls for you to banish fear, and the rest of the month is more pleasure oriented.
Full Moon in Scorpio May 3rd: Early Saturday morning, a screaming revved-up car bashed into the carport outside my window. It was my neighbor’s old car, careening on its own with a sudden engine malfunction that could have killed him: The universe immediately told him, “Time to get rid of the old car!” If it’s got to go, you will know!, when the moon is full in Scorpio. Expect graphic illustrations and sudden insights about what you REALLY need and care about, and what needs to be released.
From the weekly psychic horoscope podcast re Sunday’s full moon: By the end of the week, you will have let go of a lot, enough to change yet again, or just further. You might see things differently come next Monday, with some new priorities.” A new perspective emerges from the last few days’ events.
May Mash-up: Pluto retrograde, Mercury retrograde, Venus in Cancer, and Sun in Taurus: A long string of celestial powers that boil down to: Now is an excellent time to clean up and clear out your environment at deeper levels than before. The planets encourage you to get rid of a lot of old stuff and make your place beautiful and appropriate for the new you. You might need a new look after you clear out and clean up on multiple levels.
Mercury retrograde happens on a new moon in Taurus. The positive implication is that now, there’s greater ability to create a better product, a more pleasing one. Beauty and art projects are served by refinement while Mercury is retrograde, May 18th to June 11th. Traditionally, Mercury retrograde in Gemini means watch for communication, travel, and technology glitches.
The May air vibrates with the energy of creativity and innovation. It’s not a time to use your mind to wonder whether something is going to happen, it’s a times to have creative ideas. Astrologically speaking, the planets support great leaps of happiness, amidst longer term cycles in which people rise up for their own freedom. People can see how to do things, how to get things done, and their plans are in motion. New Visions: You see new mountains to climb in May. It’s easier to pick what is close to your heart in terms of visions to manifest.
Beware! However, this month has two faces. It has the beautiful Venus one, taking pleasure in creative delights. (To stay aligned, mentally stay in the world that delights you) It also has a confrontational, aggressive face. The adversarial one can show up more strikingly in mid-May. Many signs point to a great potential for conflict then. Appropriate response to danger of any kind: walk away very fast. Do not stop to question it, contest it, or judge it. Do not stand your ground. People do not back down; there’s plenty of ammo in the air…sparks ignite; shit’s gonna fly.
Miscellaneous May Predictions:
It feels like a long month; a lot goes on, with pivotal events mid-May.
Stock market downturn. (I would never act on this; I got the message in a new way, the divination tool was a stick, but I did interpret the sign to mean that about the stock market so I’m putting it in here!)
Big-impact events erupting the very end of April grow bigger in May. Fires of social unrest are still burning, nature and the earth are still disrupting. Also, personal choices made very Late April-Early May (April 29th– May 6th), turn out to be more significant than could be seen at first.
A step forward for animal rights, i.e. cows being treated more humanely.
Worldwide, there’s more sharing of knowledge and coming up with solutions the second half of 2015. It turns out to be a very creative year.
Get your beauty sleep! People need more sleep than usual in May.
Even though this turned out to be a very long newsletter, the successful communication style in May is: Brief and to the Point.
Psychic Insights for Your Astrological Year – Fire, Water, Air and Earth signs.
Read your Sun, Moon and Rising signs
Rather than psychic messages for the month of May, here are messages for your astrological year, which began with the Sun goes into Aries (April 18th), and ends next Spring 2016.
For the Fire signs, Aries, Leo, Sagittarius: Beginning now, it’s a very big year of personal and professional growth. . You can develop a more positive public persona. You are more ready for success, and in new ways! This astrological year is very busy; there’s no time for doubt, and no reason for it, either.
For the water signs, Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces: Throughout the year, there will be times of great innovation and creativity. The more you’re in the present, the happier and more creative you are. Thinking too far ahead can scare you: there’s too much to figure out. Everything’s fine, it’s just going to continue to change a lot.
For the Air signs, Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius: Life seems to ease up and become more stable, especially financially. You can get in a role that makes you happy, and by next Spring, you see your money situation is much better! You can get things to work, and well.
For the Earth signs, Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn:In the year to come, everything that you try is better-received and acknowledged. If you truly belong in a more powerful position, the signs are that you get there. You’re a lot healthier and happier when you do! September, October, and November, are very telling about the strength you have gathered, and that now supports you.
I’m watching the seasons change, the New Mexico landscape greening up and color coming back into my garden. On an April omen walk, I watched the river in the Nambe valley north of Santa Fe, swollen in size and moving fast with the spring run-off. The river was muddy but healthy-looking running so fast, flushing out any tepid pockets, paying no mind to what had been in place as it rushed along. April will be like that!
There will be the challenge of high roads and the temptation of low roads popping up all along the way in this month of eclipses and extremes. Even so, step off the fast track to make time for fun, the people you love, and Spring’s outdoor art show!
Have a wonderful month,
Love,
Elissa
p.s. I just got an email from Heartmath’s Global Coherence Initiative, a group that coordinates heart attunement sessions with people around the world in “Global Care Rooms”. It’s aim is to raise the collective vibration. but it sounds like a great therapy for people who want to open their hearts and connect with a loving vibration. They call it a “care focus” and it sounds fascinating! For the April 4th full moon, the care focus is “Utilizing the Incoming Light”, (how to make use of April’s rush of energy). I hope it’s okay that I copy the instructions for the process, it’s a great guided meditation!
Care Focus: Utilizing the Incoming Light
1. Focus in the heart and breathe calm and ease through your emotional system. Then breathe warm-hearted appreciation to increase your coherence. Appreciate the opportunity to utilize the incoming light to benefit yourself and the wholeness.
2. Now radiate love, care and compassion into Earth’s energetic fields to raise the collective vibration. Visualize wholeness healing and creating harmony and connection where there is discord and separation.
3. Next send care and compassion to people who are feeling on edge or unstable during these times. See more of humanity practicing the qualities of the heart to create emotional balance and a deeper connection to their higher guidance within.
4. More of us are noticing a pattern where people are connecting more genuinely and being kinder to each other. Let’s envision a rapid increase of this heart-based momentum – which will become the foundation for increased peace, cooperation and a thriving humanity.
5. Let’s close by radiating care and compassion to all people suffering from stressful conditions on the planet and to specific situations that are closer to you.

Intuitive Impressions of April 2015
There is a final push for freedom, a spurt of determined energy to move into the right position before the new moon in Aries on the 18th. People are going to feel a lot of relief that “they did it”. If you’ve worked hard, this can be a very rich time when the Sun is in Taurus, beginning April 20th.
It feels like a growing-in-intensity full moon way before the full moon hits on Easter Sunday April 5th. It’s in Libra, putting a focus on trying to get partnerships and relationships right, and crafting a more balanced life. This same upcoming full moon pressure appears again, but the end of April has a more fun atmosphere than the beginning, with the scales tipped to excitement, not tension.
Spring 2015 Psychic Horoscopes for the Astrological Signs
Read your Sun, Moon, and Rising Signs
Aries: It is a rocky (and not that understandable!) path to the next mysterious, but very strong new place you arrive, which will feel like a new beginning and a new venture. What you’re going towards, you may not suspect until July. Meanwhile, know that the true landing place you reach will make it all worthwhile.
Taurus: This isn’t the easiest season you’ve ever had, but it’s a sacrifice you have to make for the choices that do lead to more emotional fulfillment, and that do take awhile to bring about. And so you have to bear discomfort! If you’re sure that your goal is still what you want, (because you get glimpses of it!), it’s worth bearing.
Gemini: It takes awhile to get your stride…what it is that really is worth working on, or what it is your shaping, comes about in the process of pleasing yourself, and getting things in an order you can really work with. This can take you until May to get a handle on. Meanwhile, endure the process and know your reliable intelligence is in high gear.
Cancer: Something already begun and in motion will bear fruit, yet somehow things end up in a different direction than first you were going – another choice is made – yet what is chosen is still a step ahead or further on your journey. Do not worry about how you will navigate any turn in the road as you’ll understand which direction leads to your most important priorities.
Leo: Looking good, Leo! You’re finding ways that work in the world and work for you, and allow a greater self-expression. Your range of talents expands, and it’s a very fruitful Spring for you. Keep out of trouble, by that meaning don’t fritter your energy away on socializing too much and all the scenes and dramas that may be going on around you. Get involved with your new ideas!
Virgo: Something very wonderful is offered you, and this brings together a lot of wishes, challenges, and heart openings. Your guardian spirits are so happy with your choices and direction and where you can end up. A blessed Spring is about to unfold!
Libra: Being on your own in some way creates an issue. However, you will get the needed information about whatever it is that isn’t working, or that you can’t manage by yourself. If another choice has to be made: you will know. You can set things going in the right direction, yet it does look like there has to be some conflict revealed that first you turn into an actionable realization, and then you get help.
Scorpio: You want things to be different, and you may want to change location, and you need help to do it. What is needed is for your ideas to mature and develop through discussion. Then you can be successful in trying to make a major change this Spring.
Sagittarius: There’s a lot of action up ahead, a lot of exchange with people and being exposed to new ways of doing things and new locations. It doesn’t matter if it doesn’t make sense or you don’t see where it’s going …your goal is to get the exposure and the new energy that you naturally attract, as it’s what you need to feed your next creations.
Capricorn: This Spring you’re exposed to so many new possibilities and different worlds! You learn how other people operate and what’s going on in a lot different places. It’s a time of consideration, but not choice. You’re working towards the role you really want to be in! You’re getting information about it, and not yet at the point of seeing the whole picture. But it sure looks expansive, and ultimately fulfilling.
Aquarius: This Spring you experience change as the positive and necessary development that it is, due to what you’re seeking that is new and different. There are endings for the sake of what’s new with you, too. Whether it’s on to new ventures or new places, you feel like you are getting somewhere. You’re short on details as to the destination, but it’s the journey that counts this Spring.
Pisces: You have new dreams, new ways of enriching yourself, and being more true to your essence. It’s not the time to wonder what happened to the old you and question things. Understand you’re going in a new direction, a wonderful and much more substantial one; let any fears about it come and go. A very deep decision at a core level is motivating you.
