Saturn in Scorpio’s Spring 2013 Message

By today, you’ve likely experienced both the wonderful and awful manifestations of this full moon ( i.e. having a dreamy time with someone new in your life; yelling at a highly civilized customer service operator in India.)

My last post highlighted Spring’s inspiring potential. Apropos for today’s full moon which expresses polar opposites, these messages express the dues-paying side of this Spring:

Lest you think it’s all right to just let it rip and lose it in some way– get angry, go over the top,–it’s likely to magnify your woes:

What’s in the air: Strange ailments can afflict people. There are lots of disembodied spirits and disrupted airs floating in the Spring winds. It’s a time when it’s particularly costly to” lose it”. In no way should you give in to lapses of self-control.. Stay centered, don’t get incensed and reactive, and make these your watchwords: “Everything in moderation.”

The place I was led to on March 18th for Spring omens turned out to be a grassy little cemetery with three tombstones. It was on the sloping hill of a large estate. I wasn’t alone there: nearby, a woman sat at a bench with her back to me, writing; and further away, a man in shorts was lying on his back, sunning.

The messages from the cemetery were:

What is removed from peoples’ lives does not cause much of a disturbance at this time It’s easier to let go of an old life now.

People are all over the map in terms of where they are in their lives, a reminder that everything is just a phase. People are up and down and the lesson is to just move forward without judging your starting point. It’s all going to change.

Don’t compare and contrast yourself to anybody and expect to learn something from it. There’s nothing to gain from judging yourself that way.

From the Spring soil:

Here lie all people of all colors who died defending their rights.

Driven into the soil, their blood given freely.

How lucky you are…bless your freedom—many give their lives for it this Spring..

About material realities: Be modest and conservative in your appraisal, it’s much more likely the truth that a house is worth less than the price…do not expect miracles with physical manifestation. This is a proving-ground time, full of potholes, peccadillos, and payment plans that need to be double-checked. If you’re making a substantial investment, make sure it’s all worth it.

Aggressive Spring energy: People are going to give you their opinion and express what they want you to do. You must be wary of giving too much attention to others’ opinions of you and what you should do you.

Spiritual Message From the Pictograph: This is about how people are blank in that they have not yet embodied a new identity–taken on a new face– but its characteristics are a brighter being, with a stronger connection to life and its potential for rich experiences.

It also refers to how the Spring months act like a magnifying glass, reflecting back to us with unusual power, success and abundance, restriction and destruction.

For Those With A Dream in Spring 2013: You may not have a specific idea of your destination, but it’s enough to have the feeling and sense of the energy of what you want. For many, April is the first step of a new dream. If next February, you have grounded that dream in reality, it’s here to stay for awhile. Whatever you are pregnant with is a game changer for you and others.

The Strength of Spring: The strength of Spring can involve the rough patch, a gash in your life’s landscape, or a barrenness. Something is not yet formed or at a low point, but this means nothing in the end: after you negotiate whatever it is, comes a great deal of growth and a higher high than you have reached before.

Yesterday I worked with a client who has been preoccupied with the destruction of the United States…they are pretty sure the Obama administration will ruin the economy and the lives of their children and grandchildren. They wanted to ask with the tarot if we will make it through intact as a country, with Obama as president.

To my surprise, it looked like something very profitable for the U.S. was being worked out as we sat there, and about to take place. A plan was being formed that created a platform for economic stability. It looked like both sides liked the plan for the clear economic opportunities it presented. That was the common denominator: both sides saw the economic benefit and liked the plan.

It looked like everything was going to be better than fine, judging from the tarot cards of a person who had no such expectation.

March 2013 New Moon Messages

Lots can change in the worlds of all signs after today’s March new moon, so much it calls for a little update about your personal fate!

Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): Don’t think small. Don’t miss an opportunity to do something more inspiring because you’re stuck in your comfort zone. And go for the bigger money!

Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces): Great news! Water signs can go from having dealt with all that has opposed them and the challenges of making something happen to being elated by the prospects of what they’ve organized for themselves. The flow of imagination is just beginning!

Air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): This week you’re back in a better groove, in better balance and in better partnerships. This is a positive and optimistic time, where you’re shown many ways in which you’ve made progress.

Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): You can’t see how your world opens up at this point, but you can feel you’re stepping into a much larger one. You can make it work but will be frustrated by the still-murky details…so relax! Keep on working on what you can and tomorrow will take care of itself.

Today the planets form an important conjunction of the moon with Pluto. This is the planetary aspect the great psychic Edgar Cayce was born with…it can give one a deep interest in metaphysics and spiritual realities, it can make a person take big risks because they’re willing to change, and as an aspect that affects today’s mood, it can also make a person highly emotional and make it hard to calm down!

It’s a great aspect for a metaphysical class, though. These are my plans in advance for tonight’s intuition class in downtown Santa Fe:

In general the planets suggest the theme of linking and connecting. If people happen to feel ungrounded, we might do a tree meditation that comes from the ancient Hebrews. We might try a breathing exercise that comes from creation myths of having the gods blow breath into clay (found in Native America, China, and Africa). These exercise help to get relaxed and receptive.

Being comfortable enough to open one’s aura (their personal energy field) is a big support for getting into an intuitive state at will. The tried and true way is through guided imagery. The meditation I have in mind begins with a story from the fabled land of Lemuria.

Another area to discuss about “linking” is the relationship between objects and power. What links up to make an object a “power object”? This can involve teaching a technique reading rocks (a stone you pick up on a walk, I’ll bring stones in case we want to do this). Another demonstration of empowering through linking with something is to learn to make an object like sweetgrass “sacred” and use it in a healing way.

However, what also dictates a circle is what shows up as natural themes because of who shows up—in the beginning I’ll read what the signs in our circle, discuss anything about intuition people want to bring up, and we’ll probably work with a tarot exercise at the end for the week ahead.

Life Lessons From My Clients

Dear Friends,

February 2013 was a dynamic yet murky month that stirred peoples’ emotions, and caused many friends and clients to wonder where their life is going. (Or our country for that matter…will the Sequester take place or not? It’s the last day of the month and we still don’t know!)

I discover a lot through my clients, who although unrelated, often show up in a wave of similar concerns. Recently it was “feeling like a failure”. They doubted their new business venture (it’s losing money), their new February diet and health routines (was doing well, now backsliding), their job searches (no luck), and their bid to make new friends (nobody to connect with at the club after screwing up the courage to go out!)

In the words of the late Zig Ziglar, “Remember that failure is an event, not a person.” Provocative February also stimulated those people to approach their life creatively.They were keen for something better and going after it. By trying something new they made themselves vulnerable to failure. Whether it’s falling off a bike until you can ride, or like the time my mother caught me tossing a failed cake experiment off the porch, doing anything new includes lots of failures. (I expected to get punished but instead my mother asked me, “How else are you going to learn to cook?”)

Another February lesson from clients impresses me. This challenging month flushed out the unfinished sentence in peoples’ belief systems: “I broke my diet, and I’ll never reach my goal.“ I didn’t get a job this month, and I’ll never find one. “I went out and met nobody, maybe I’ll never find a partner!” No particular event was making people miserable, just the fatalistic prediction for themselves that went with it, unnamed but clearly there or singular events wouldn’t be so disheartening.

A person must give themselves the benefit of the doubt to see failure as an event, and not what they are. They have to treat themselves with kindness. An ongoing dynamic that the planets reflect strongly right now is an accelerated ability to see deeply into oneself. You can see what upsets you, what makes you happy, and what you need. It’s a very emotional process! (Expect this to continue into early March rather than after the Spring equinox.)

It’s likely that February was an emotional rollercoaster for many people, with all the planets in water signs…I hope it’s brought us to a stronger place!

Magic Circle Intuition Class: The next class in downtown Santa Fe is March 6th, please get in touch if you want to come. Last night we had many different experiences! We sensed energy fields and did a practice to open our power center that I learned in Peru. We worked with a color healing tool to bring new frequencies into our energy field. We did energy release and healing work, divination with the stones and tarot, and a guided imagery exercise to get one’s own spiritual guidance. People got messages right away! You can try that meditation yourself, it’s on my blog, “Teacher on the Beach.” Click on the little arrow right above the illustration to start; it takes about two minutes.

Metaphysical classes have an intimate, special atmosphere I have always loved. We are learning to change our vibration, sense spiritual realities and communicate beyond the limits of language. Overall, these processes raise a person’s vibration. They build trust in one’s own intuition. You gotta have rapport with yourself in this crazy world!

After March 6^th I have to other commitments until April. Then I plan to start the Intuition classes up again, please look for details in the next newsletter and online.
