2006: "Truth-Fest" Manifests
Courage stirs, chaos reigns, and by 2008, expect regime change! There’s not a flow to the year, it’s more like an intense logjam of karmic events, man-made and natural, erupting and unfolding around us. 2006 and 2007 are looking like the chaotic preamble to a saner world, where leaders are not only accountable, they’re eager to do the right thing! This unfolds over time, beginning in 2008. Now, people all over the world are riled about their conditions, and demanding respect from their governments.

There’s no way to keep things at bay this year—the neighbors, other countries, are just gonna do what they’re gonna do, probably flagrantly. Volcanoes could blow their tops off. Rains rain and rain and rain. Right and left, people go beyond the boundaries imposed on them—there is no protection from the real truth of people, no wishing people wouldn’t “go there”, no denying what is. “Denial” is not a winning strategy in 2006.
There’s the wild possibility that on every level things will get jolted in our world. Nature and society can erupt, but it’s a formative time for new dreams, an easy time to break from what is familiar, if that’s a person’s or different countries’ desire. Things get re-arranged and new alliances are formed. For individuals, it’s the nature of this turning point that everything must be forgiven; change calls for great release this year, a willingness to let things begin anew. More than ever before, let go of the old and grab on to the new.
The Speaking Stones: The “might-makes-right” structure in place now exhibits weakness because it depends on everything staying the same. But nature conspires against it, things are going to change, the unexpected does not favor the old order. It’s the fate of the male power to go down, and it is surprising. And the new more inclusive and egalitarian order that’s on the march takes two years to move into a position of influence, and it’s all about making changes that make communities, from local to global, stronger. Women move into the center. The stones also said that although creative solutions, the unexpected, and world threats proliferate, they form a kind of “stable disequilibrium”, where there’s not a lot of movement in the world, there’s too many opposing forces, too much going on, for any clear direction to emerge.
It looks like America is still in Iraq, that things only change with regime change here. Recent divinations are making me think there’s been a fundamental shift, perhaps because of leadership change in Iraq…what’s showing up now is that we’re going to make a lot of money by being engaged in the Middle East, or right now a lot of money is at stake and it’s a long haul but the powers that be have set their sights on making a big pile of money for a long time to come, by staying in this war and whatever else we’re doing outside the country. Citizens would have to decide the most important thing was to stop what they were doing and change the course of human history, to stop the power grab going on now.
The possible fate of the Bush Administration and America: Last October, when Scooter Libby got indicted by Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, (wrote about it in December’s newsletter online), I also asked the forces, how did this all affect America, what happens in the country after these trials? The answer was: “A contraction in the country. Things falling in.” I asked the tarot the same question and it said that what was fulfilled by the trials was, “...balance, Justice, the law…what feels right, and what feels like the destiny of the place it happens in. Justice is served, destiny is manifest in America. It is stressful for America but there is a greater peace of mind afterwards, a relief."With the Bush Administration, there’s a sense of not knowing where they’re going, they are not “carrying on” or “staying the course.”
Hidden Renaissance: In the world of science, there is some new understanding about the most basic things about life, new basic rules showing up about our ability to create things. Things are lining up, becoming clear, and creating new possibilities…the real frontier in technological development is close at hand. We will be given reason to hope this year, as people use their skills and talents to come up with creative solutions to the worlds’ problems. There is some breakthrough in understanding what is going on at the deepest levels in the earth’s core. In the classical world of ballet, there’s a new development, it modernizes, expresses new things; talented co-creators in ballet come along, and they enrich the language and scope of dance. Music, art, and religion also thrive in the atmosphere of 2006, and new fire under community movements makes them aim to be “the little engine that could”. Everything is happening at once: a renaissance, holy wars, the fall of empires, and the rise of China.
Liberty Watch: Freedom fighters unite all over the world for their local causes, resisting regimes that don’t treat them with respect, staging protests, forming coalitions. Community-based movements go on the road. New leaders become very successful by respecting the rights and needs of the people. (I’ll have to send this newsletter to Evo Morales.)
Watch out! This is also an easy atmosphere to slide into dysfunction; the devil is afoot this year. If you’re judgmental, you’ll be wagging your finger all year long. If you’re fear-based or at war with yourself and others, you’ll learn how bad that can make you feel. I don’t really know where to put this next message, but I did get the feeling that Death comes on the scene in May, in significant numbers. Also, in the Northwest U.S., there was a lot of devastation, including to trees, like they were denuded or burned.
Personal Best: Bound to create drama in each of our lives, the energy of 2006 brings to our in-home movie theaters, whatever our own attitudes and actions lead us to. It’s really all up to each of us what kind of year we have—positive or negative--whatever we put our attention on will manifest. Be sure to cast yourself as the hero of your own movie, the artist on your own path.
From Outer Space: I continue to receive messages from off-the planet consciousnesses or beings, whatever they are, able to integrate their higher consciousness with ours if we are willing. Here are their messages from 2006:

Grace slips easily away; to remember grace, to act with grace and bestow it on others is a bright and beautiful thing to do in 2006.
- The whole human web is frail…strengthen it by being accountable, it’s the grease for the wheels of the world.
- Community Alert: Old people are in danger, and aggressive action is needed to stop the erosion in their lives, the overall drop in quality of life.
- Everybody make your little community project! All the energy tied up in these projects is a loosely woven grass mat, taking hold.
“Lots of rain. There are some objects in outer space that could powerfully affect the earth, too, that are a surprise.” (It seems like there are a number of probable realities that give off pictures. I’ve had visions, for instance, of a completely changed world, the slate wiped clean,with people feeling very differently towards each other, like a comet hit us or something.) “What protects the earth is creative innovation, nurturing values. We will be mingling with the minds of the technology-makers among you…much new science is on the way.”
In answer to my wondering how to deal with the suffering of others: “Well, we told you there would be suffering all along. This is what happens as a consequence of too much taking, not enough giving. Greed destroyed you this time. We are here to guide you, take your hand if offered. Everyone will get it from the inside. There are no leaders in this round of evolution, only inner directives.”
2006 Messages for Countries : More Russian immigrants come to the United States, and whereever they land they seem to improve the situation--they are a good influence.
Here are two messages from countries, like the spirits of the people are talking: "Yes, we are here, crowded in the room together; the lights are out. How long are we going to be here in the dark? We are the people of Israel, and we are in peril.” This is from a country that didn’t identify itself, but it said, “Below us are mighty jets, above us a scimitar - holy wars rage until the end.” (Looking at a map of the mid-East, this could be Syria; maybe it’s just the Mid-East Extremist sentiment.) There was also the sense of the Al Queda expanding south into smaller countries, and something bad happens in Egypt.
Brazil could be rocked by scandals – they need to be alert to unscrupulous people coming into or taking power.
Psychic Pictograph for 2006 The meaning of the 2006 pictograph (see top) eluded me for a long time. I think it points to yet another scenario…this year gives off pictures of many possible futures, much is not decided. The pictograph is the most hopeful, though. It says: It looks like the dark and the light in this world are running neck and neck, but because of surprise developments (the red present that also looks kind of like a bomb all wrapped up), The Light pulls ahead. Also, it’s an elegant and arty cultural scene this year, the price of gold goes up, and a lot of healing takes place in people.
New Mexico: Governor Richardson is on the move, gettin’ fancy—he’s on a roll. Native American tribes get more self-sufficient, successful, and politically powerful.
New Orleans: Don’t give up on New Orleans yet, it could turn out to be that conflict and destruction precede healing, an unfolding rebirth, and we witness over time its willingness to change and be born anew.
The Elements 2006 - read you sun, moon, and rising signs
Fire 2006 (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): You are aware of new possibilities, right under your nose. And also, within you. What’s new about you, the new things you can do, are dawning on you and potentially creating a whole new world for you. It’s good to focus on completing organizational and foundation-building projects that allow your work/career to expand. Cut down on the stress in your life by not trying to get so much done…going slower is actually the only way you’ll reach the inner resources and gain the emotional strength you crave. If you stay true to your personal goals and inner guidance, look forward to managing yourself better and gaining strength in all areas as the year progresses.
Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces): You only want to do what you love, what you feel is your destiny- your intention steers you on a straight and narrow path towards a chosen life. Terrific ideas occur to you. This is also a “People Year”. You and partners could be off on a new adventure. There are new relationships, partnerships, and a lot of ideas flying around about what great things you can do with other people. Relationships begun this year tend to be “meaty”, juicy, and useful. This year gives you the chance to do what you love and have new and different experiences, plus, work with simpatico people on meaningful goals.
Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): A new way to make money, a new directions shows up, that proves to be successful; it can also be that a pending financial situation works out in your favor. You let go of a lot this year, anything that no longer fulfills you, any circumstance in which your energy can’t flow freely, even if it were last month’s best idea. You may be arranging your life around a new circumstance or important project, there’s a responsibility or commitment that you’re willing to make changes for. You might feel, once the year gets going, that your world is changing…a course is emerging that leads far into the future.
Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): You want answers to important questions, but they are arrived at by experiences you have, not thoughts you can arrive at independent of life. That said, you have special abilities this year to know what’s right for you, what’s going to work out. You will know things and learn things on a deep and satisfying level. You will love more deeply. You’ll get the chance to do something deeply satisfying. Also, you can bring a project to fruition very fast this year, from seed to flower. The main thing is, don’t worry, be happy; change is good!

Aries: Significantly, you take part in new activities and have new friends in new places. Somewhat tentatively, in March you begin a lot of new things…have faith even if their development is slow, in Fall you’ll see more concrete results. This is a year to go towards the warmth in life, the conviviality, the better-for-you place, not the traditional or conventional place.
Taurus: Stuck? You’ll see the light the last 3 months of the year. You set out in a direction that is new and true for you, and likely, you’ll question it all in the middle. Or it seems as if your course changes, you’re really not sure if you’re going right, there’s a change of heart or inconsistent effort, but basically, your somewhat circuitous route through life takes you into new territory, trying new things, and then reaching new land! Do something special for your birthday this year.
Gemini: Opportunities are falling from the sky—grab one, then another, get used to grabbing them, don’t stop to think where it’s going or what it all means. You get exciting and magical opportunities that further you. Something works out, and its benefits keep on giving and growing.
Cancer: You’re exultant about a great idea, Wow! You remember yourself, your vital essential self, and grow in personal strength. You organically move towards the right position and role in the world. There’s a lot that’s preordained by your past, and even work in other past lives, that makes this year special and gratifying.
Leo: You respond forcefully to being unfulfilled or unhealthy—you really want to get better and get to a better place. You get over a lot this year, you go on to bigger and better things. 2006 is about working hard towards personal goals, gaining emotional and physical strength, having more energy, and taking responsibility for yourself and your feelings. You do a lot to get ready for a different future.
Virgo: The slate is cleared off at the beginning of the year, possibly due to unexpected circumstances. You can expect more unexpected circumstances as the year progresses... it’s a “different” year. Although new long-term roads are taken now, you don’t begin them with your destination in mind…it’s unknowable now. It’s fine that you don’t know where you’re going—be led by your interests and what and who you enjoy—follow your good feelings to yet another unexpected, but better, place.
Libra: You’re dealing with physical and material happiness this year, getting more stable, addressing imbalances, making things right. You might be downsizing in some way. Either you’re slowing down to catch up to yourself, or soon (but not likely this year) you’re going to change direction entirely. When you place what’s personally important to you above all, good things happen. Go somewhere new that thrills your heart! Taking a risk to do something new can lead to love and happiness and new doors opening.
Scorpio: The planet of luck and healing, Jupiter, radiates its beneficence on your Sun sign this year. Light enters your life and you become more self-confident. Your strong will and emotions, which have been troublesome in the past, work together now to make you happier. It’s too early to know which of the two roads that emerges is right for you…no need to decide yet. Even though in some ways you’re still doing a balancing act, the way the year flows is a relief.
Sagittarius: You’ll have better results when you narrow you focus rather than charging around in different directions. It looks good in Fall to get more education, go to a big city, and widen your horizons. You feel the need to assemble a team and develop needed resources to work with the world or produce something. It’s clear what steps have to be taken. Follow directions to the letter, and take your time with each phase of development. There’s something new that people are looking at that you have put together—they think it’s in the right place at the right time!
Capricorn: You set yourself up in business for a long time to come—you get some good deals going that keep on giving. However, if at some point you are slowed down in some way, not producing or making money like usual, that’s okay, you’ll make up for it later. It’s a year of recognition, success, “being crowned”; you’re solid, stable, happy, making lasting arrangements with people, aware of your achievements and excited about your future. And then in 2007, you dream up some new dreams!
Aquarius: It’s really good to take a calculated risk; you’ll be met by people but on foreign soil in some way, you go off into the unknown without trepidation, it’s the right time to meet your fate and see what completely different things come out of you as a consequence of this year’s developments. The year is also taken up with an important personal process, causing you to “deal with what’s real”, and making you feel more authentically in touch with yourself.
Pisces: Do you want people to let you do whatever you want? Do you want new experiences that bring out the best in you? Do you want to be shown the wonderful place your heart is leading you to? Take chances in opportunistic 2006! Expect to be zinging with joy in your inner world, and getting glimpses of great personal success up ahead.
